How do I contact the TSP?
Your personnel office is the primary point of contact if you are an active employee, the TSP Service Office if you are retired. The Service Office handles questions about loans, investment allocations, interfund transfers, beneficiary designations, and withdrawals for all participants. The office is open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time. From inside the United States and Canada, call the ThriftLine toll-free (877) 968-3778, TDD (877) 847-4385; other callers (404) 233-4400.

The ThriftLine contains account access features, rates of return and allows transactions including interfund transfers, loan requests and reallocation of ongoing investments.

The TSP site, www.tsp.gov, contains publications, account access features, rates of return, and benefit calculators and allows transactions such as interfund transfers, loan and withdrawal requests, and reallocation of ongoing investments. Users must provide their account numbers and Web passwords to get information about their accounts or to make transactions.
