Do I have the right to union representation in discussions with management?

Not if the discussion is about general conditions of employment or personnel policies and practices; normal “shop talk” is not a formal discussion invoking representation rights. However, you are entitled to representation at meetings in connection with an investigation that you reasonably believe may result in disciplinary action.
