When are FLTCIP benefits payable?
As an enrollee you would be eligible for benefits if a licensed health care practitioner has certified that you cannot perform at least two activities of daily living for least 90 days without substantial assistance from another person. Activities of daily living include eating, toileting, transferring (as from bed to chair), bathing, dressing, and bowel and bladder control.

Benefits further are payable if you have been found to require substantial supervision due to severe impairment in short-term or long-term memory, orientation as to person, place and time, or deductive or abstract reasoning.
