Federal employee survey on ice

The 2020 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) is being delayed.

To better support critical agency missions and maximize employee participation in the survey, the 2020 FEVS is being postponed, according to a memo from Office of Personnel Management acting Director Michael Rigas.

Rather than starting in May, the governmentwide FEVS is now tentatively scheduled to begin July 13 and run for six-weeks.  Agency points of contact for the FEVS effort will get additional details on the launch schedules, reporting timelines as soon as they are finalized.

Results from the last survey released in November showed a 42.6% response rate, with 615,000 out of about 1.44 million employees participating.

A 42.6% response rate shows that the survey is considered worthless to the federal employees since results mean nothing.

The Federal employee survey is nothing but a waste of time and a well planned insult and joke on the integrity of hard working federal employees.

The survey is insulting and a waste of time for federal employees. Years after years the big outfit in Bethesda has noted the deficient corrupt managers are the ones who have caused the decay in morale noted. So what does the survey indicate? They wash it down and pretend all is fine and everyone is just happy. The problems are numerous, corrupt management who pretend they are teleworking when in fact should be on annual leave and charging the use of annual leave. They also are gender biased along with discriminating against older individuals. They pay each other large bonuses while back stabbing employees on their performance evaluations. It is time these deficient managers are removed from such positions to allow well motivated honest workers to do their duties for this nation.
