Current, former employees connected to questionable social media posts

An internal investigation into “disturbing social media activity” among Customs and Border Protection workers has connected 70 current and former employees to a controversial Facebook group, CNN reports.

According to the report, secret Facebook groups came to light earlier this month that contained inappropriate or derogatory content posted by CBP agents.

All of the posts in the group will be investigated to determine if disciplinary action needs to be taken, the article notes, adding that officials have not named the 70 individuals and would not comment on whether Border Patrol Chief Carla Provos was among the group as reported.
