The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association has launched a new look on its website and materials--and a new branding.
NARFE, which dates back to the 1920s, has gone through several transformations over the decades. The current rebranding was started--as the group states in a release heralding the move--due to the old look beginning to lose its shine.
“NARFE embarked on a rebranding initiative more than a year ago when research showed that the NARFE brand did not resonate among all of our audiences,” the release said. “NARFE is many things to many people, yet among all, NARFE is a trustworthy resource on the earned pay and benefits of federal employees and retirees.”
NARFE's new catchphrase? It's simply this: NARFE: federal benefits experts.
The group is sought out by lawmakers and their staffs, policymakers, as well as media and of course members seeking information and the right moves to advocate best for federal employees--and their compensation and benefits.
“NARFE’s Federal Benefits Institute delivers essential information so they can make informed and appropriate decisions,” the release said. “The media reaches out to NARFE for background information and perspective on news developments and NARFE’s Communications Department connects reporters with critical data and powerful personal stories.”
“While our logo has changed, the trust, dedication and guidance we have built and shared over nearly 100 years remain the same,” the group said.
