Another top FBI official fired

Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe late Friday, NBCNews.com reports.

McCabe, who briefly led the agency after former FBI Director James Comey was terminated last year, was dismissed just hours before he was set to retire and become eligible for full pension benefits, according to the report.

In a statement, Sessions said McCabe was fired after an investigation found misconduct including making unauthorized reports to the media, the article notes, adding that the watchdog group that recommended the firing has been examining the agency's handling of the Hilary Clinton e-mail investigation.

Another top fbi official WRONGLY fired. McCabe may have made some missteps, but we all know he is being fired to help smear a potential witness in wider investigations of higher officials in obstruction of justice.

This very disturbing. The greatest threat to our democracy resides in the White House.
