Long Term Care Partners, which administers the Federal Long-Term Care Insurance Program, said it will offer a “Virtual Benefits Fair” during the upcoming federal benefits open season that runs from Nov. 14 through Dec. 12.
According to the organization, attendees will be able to go online to the virtual fair, save 2017 plan brochures, and visit individual insurance carrier “booths”—as well as watch instructional videos and register for educational webinars. The company said the program is designed for those who cannot attend a health fair in person.
The fair also will feature two live “carrier chat days” when representatives from FLTCIP and FSAFEDS, and from participating Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) and Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) carriers will be available.
The chats will take place Nov 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET; and on Dec. 7, from also from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Registration to participate in the fair is available here.
