Pentagon official appointed head of Professional Services Council

The Professional Services Council, a private organization that represents contractors that sell services to the federal government, has tapped a new leader.

David Berteau, the assistant secretary of defense for logistics and materiel readiness, will leave the DOD to become CEO of the organization, according to a press release.

The organization, which lobbies for technology and professional services  federal contractors on Capitol Hill, has been particularly active on DOD acquisition policy.
