Federal Benefits Q&A

Question: “My TSP contributions will total $18,004 at the end of the year. For the last pay period this year, will only enough to total $18,000 be taken out, or will nothing be taken out? I don't want to miss the match.”

Answer: For your last pay date of 2016, only enough will be deducted from your paycheck so that you do not exceed the $18,000 maximum total TSP contribution for 2016.
