doctors statement

   i had rotor taer and impingement , i had surgery ,had a rating of 12% permenant impairment . now the surgeon wont write a statement! they said we dont do that ! my hr person wont help ! i sent in my m.e. statement will that be enought for disability retirement ? my job reqiuers me to do heavy lifting up to 70 lbs. and my restiction is 20 lbs . what will they do !

	You obviously need to find another doctor. Without doctor support, you don't have a chance.

	Just went out on diability retirement oct 28.When I asked my doctor for a statemwnt he also said no,so I just turned in copies of all my med records from my last two back surg.From the time the opm received my request it took one month to have it approved.I did have my 30 in so that might have helped I don't know.
