when they do a look-see at my SF86 and do the credit check for my interim, they don't have an idea of my income right?
also, i know how it may look to the investigator. my question is simply this... is this a reason to deny interim clearances. Clean credit with responsible payments to high CC debt. |

Yes - you may have your interim denied. The "interim" means that someone at that specific agency decided that you could be given access - based on your SF86 and initial record checks - and they are taking the "chance" on you.
Many agencies will not grant interims because they are concerned about loss of information.
Debt to income ration is used in many access programs to determine if you are a financial risk.
"overlooking" the requirement to report the information will quickly cancel your interim (we are always required to immediately report developed information).

thanks for the reply BI... for clarification, what information am i "required to report"? I didn't see anywhere that I could mitigate or even divulge debt that wasn't delinquent. the last POC of in relation to my file was a lady that emailed me stating that she reviewed my initial SF-86 just to make sure that there was no vital information missing and everything was filled out properly. She then "forwarded it on for adjudication".. i'm guessing for my interim. Should I email her explaining the situation? Will she be able to forward what I send her to the right people or is it too late in the game
