Yes and No
Yes to 1st class, priority, and express.
No to everything else. Those ads come in the paper and you can get them on line as well.
So in effect, cut it in half.

In 10 years, there will be no need for letter mail. It's already a gigantic waste of energy and resources.
Parcels and packages can be efficiently transported through private carriers. In effect, I select option 4 - close USPS entirely.

I wonder if the 40% that want to close the usps would vote the same way if they were sitting with a pen and paper instead of a computer???
There are rural parts to this country where people do not have internet access Just a thought john |

The folks that used to make buggy whips had the exact same outlook to their jobs. That those in the rural areas had to have horses guess what?
Seeing as how other countries make it work why should the USPS stay a federal activity with its huge payroll and out dated labor rules

The truth is no one would be willing to buy the PO to make it private. It's not a money making company. I read an article in the last year talking about how privatizing the USPS was no longer even an option.

We need another catergory to vote on. How about privatize management and the USPS would save BILLIONS. Just look at the money the USPS would save on not having to pay million dollar add on retirement bonuses. In addition, a cost savings of 795,000 dollars on parties and catering events.
You have one vote to privatize management from me. Then maybe the new management would hold the criminals like Bernstock, Jaffer, Lazaroff, Lane and the many more crooks ACCOUNTABLE for their criminal activity in the managerial ranks of the USPS. Edited by retiring20soon - 20 Jul 2010 at 4:54am |

Most importantly, if we privatize management then the new General Counsel of the USPS may not close their eyes and ears on a formal investigation.
The fourth brother is Bernstock in the pic below.
