Officials from the American Federation of Government Employees and the Transportation Security Administration were slated to sign off Nov. 30 on the first-ever collective bargaining agreement between TSA workers and the agency.

Officials from the American Federation of Government Employees and the Transportation Security Administration were slated to sign off Nov. 30 on the first-ever collective bargaining agreement between TSA workers and the agency.  The agreement was ratified by TSA employees earlier this month.

AFGE National President J. David Cox said in a statement that the historic agreement, which came to a vote on Nov. 9, will bring transportation security officers better working conditions, fairer evaluation practices and safer workplaces.
